My name is Rob Linssen. I live in Bergen aan Zee, close to Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I use photography to make sense of the world and my place in it. My work circles around memory, time, melancholy and ephemerality. After a master in Modern History (1987) in Nijmegen I went to the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam (1989-90). 2022/2023 The Nearest Truth Year-Long Photobook Program 2022/2023. 2023 5 day workshop with Todd Hido in Berlin.

 

This website is an ongoing project. I will experiment with different 'stories' and 'sequences'. Nothing is finished. Everything is in a constant flow. By publishing my images on this platform and let them live in an open freely accessible space I look at them with fresh eyes.

I sell fine art prints on Archival Smooth Cotton High White paper (315 Gms) in an open edition in three sizes: 20 x 30, 30 x 45 and 40 x 60. All prints will be signed and dated on the back.
